What Is Overseerr?


Overseerr is a request management tool for media servers. Family members or friends can browse and request movies or TV shows, and the requests flow through automated download workflows.


How It Works


1. User browses and requests a movie

2. Overseerr checks availability on your media server

3. If not available, sends request to Radarr (movies) or Sonarr (TV)

4. Radarr/Sonarr finds and downloads the media

5. Media appears in Jellyfin/Plex automatically

6. User gets notified when it's ready
